Meaningful Learning in Action!
On Wednesday, 4.24.24, students in our STEM Biomedical Studies course presented their final infectious disease case studies to a panel of medical and science professionals during NDCL's bi-annual biomedical symposium. Students conducted research on the biology, symptomology, treatment, and epidemiology of their assigned case under the guidance of board member and medical expert, Dr. Jan Poponick, and NDCL Science Department Chair, Mrs. Liz Ford. Congratulations to all of our Biomedical students and a special thank you to our community partners who helped to make our spring symposium a great success!
